The Ludcke Lecture is given annually by the holder of the Ludcke Chair of Liberal Arts and Sciences, which is awarded annually to a tenured professor who has excelled during his or her career as a teacher, scholar and colleague at the University.

The Seventh Annual Ludcke Lecture, titled, "Walking Sideways: My meandering path through the world of crab physiology," will be given by Markus Frederich, PhD at 5pm in the St. Francis Room with a reception to follow in the Bush Boardroom.
