The Ludcke Lecture is given annually by the holder of the Ludcke Chair of Liberal Arts and Sciences, which is awarded annually to a tenured professor who has excelled during his or her career as a teacher, scholar and colleague at the University.

The Eighth Annual Ludcke Lecture, titled, "Fish Stories: Tales of an Ethologist," will be given by Teresa Dzieweczynski, Ph.D. at 5 p.m. in the St. Francis Room with a reception to follow in the Bush Boardroom.
