College of Dental Medicine Commencement Ceremony
The College of Dental Medicine will honor the Class of 2018 candidates for the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. The ceremony will feature keynote speaker Kathy O’Loughlin, D.M.D., M.P.H., executive director of the American Dental Association (ADA).
O’Loughlin is the first female executive director of the ADA since its formation in 1859 and a nationally recognized leader in the health care, nonprofit, and education sectors. She speaks around the country about the profession of dentistry, oral health care delivery, public health policy, dental practitioner mental health and wellness, interprofessional collaboration within health care delivery, and on the need for diversity within the dental profession.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
All guests are welcome. There are no tickets to this ceremony.
