ABOUT CLARION: CLARION is a case competition for health professions students, enabling them to achieve a 360-degree perspective on patient safety in today's health care system (in which 440,000 people die per year from medical error) and how it might be improved. Interprofessional student teams are given a case and must create a root cause analysis, which is presented to and evaluated by a team of interprofessional judges in the context of real world standards of practice. UNE has placed in this competition in the past! Compete against the likes of the UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO, UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL and TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY.
