DMD - American Student Dental Association - Fifth Annual Miles for Smiles 5k Run

The DMD program in conjunction with the American Student Dental Association would like to invite all UNE students, faculty, and staff, along with any interested community members to participate in the Fifth Annual Miles for Smiles 5k Run.  A morning of exercise and community building with an emphasis on oral health awareness.  With each passing year, our goal is to increase UNE student and faculty participation across degree programs, and increase community participation as the overall goal of the race is to promote wellness, raise funds for charity, and increase awareness of oral health considerations.  All proceeds generated through registration fees and donations will be given to the dental clinic at Portland’s The Root Cellar, which works to transform, empower, and unite neighborhoods of Maine’s urban centers. Race registrants will receive a race T-shirt and access to free oral hygiene supplies at check-in.
