Saco River Float Trip

Join Graduate and Professional Student Affairs (GAPSA) and Finley Recreation on the Saco River for some ‘wicked’ fun tubing on Saturday, August 31st.  The coach bus will depart UNE’s Portland Campus at 11:00 am and head for Saco Bound in Center Conway, NH.  There you will get outfitted with a tube and pointed in the right direction… downstream! The river float will start at 1:00 pm and will end at approximately 4 pm (dependent on how fast the river is running). After a day spent relaxing on the river, you will board the bus and head back to UNE with an expected arrival time of 6 pm.  Sound like fun?! Don’t wait to sign-up as spots are limited!

Saco Bound to Weston’s Beach.  The mild, 3 MPH current takes you 3 miles downriver past many great swimming holes and sandy beaches over a 3 hour trip.
