Southern Maine Brain bee

The Southern Maine Brain Bee is the first step in an international Brain Bee competition that brings together students from near and far to test their knowledge on brain related topics. Local high school students compete in a bee-like compition answering questions about the brain's: biology, cellular function, anatomy, physiology, psychology and more. All information comes from a free source found here: http://www.brainfacts.org/the-brain-facts-book. UNE also offers tutoring from UNE staff/ and students in preparation for the Bee. The winner of the Southern Maine Brain Bee can compete in the US Brain Bee in March. More information about the US Brain Bee is found here: http://www.dental.umaryland.edu/brainbee/for-the-competitor/. The winner of this competition will go on to the International Bee.

Prior to the Bee, the Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences will have host some activities to help participating students prep for the Bee.
