UNE’s Planetary Health Council invites you to join a panel of UNE experts in an interactive discussion to explore how food impacts our health, community, and world.

Panelists include Anne-Marie Davee, Jamie Moore from Parkhurst Dining, and Barry Costa-Pierce.  Presentations and discussion will examine how eating habits affect the health of our planet, highlight local-to-global food systems, and explore solutions for a healthier world.

This collaborative event is being produced in partnership with UNE’s Center for Excellence in Collaborative Education. This event will address interprofessional competencies of Values & Ethics and Teamwork, and can be applied toward UNE students’ Interprofessional Honors Distinction Badge.

LUNCH DISCOUNT: After the event, head up to the 3rd Floor Dining Commons for a $5 lunch by Parkhurst, featuring a Planetary Health themed menu and guided tour of foods with a lower carbon footprint.
