Neighborhood Plastic Pick-Up

Take a walk in the fresh air with friends while doing some good! Did you know that 1 to 1.7 million tons of plastic waste makes its way to the ocean each year? Join other UNE community members in a short plastic pickup and litter patrol in Portland Campus neighborhood. All participants receive a sweet treat and are entered into a raffle for a window bird feeder. Student participants also earn a $1 FOOD TRUCK BUCK to use on April 22nd, Earth Day!  We'll provide the gloves and boxes for the litter, you provide the fun, energy and desire to do good by our Mother Earth!
