Please join us to celebrate the new acquisitions in our collection. Stephen K. Halpert, UNE Curator of Photography, has carefully selected a suite of compelling images in his signature narrative curatorial style. Thanks to the vision and generosity of Judy Glickman Lauder, we are thrilled to present this exciting new group of photographic works in 2024.

This exhibition focuses on Halpert's longstanding interest in work that documents diverse perceptions of daily life in Maine and across the world.  Images range from urban street scenes to abstracted sunsets, with many of Maine's best-known photographers represented.  Photography lovers will find images and techniques of every variety to pique their interest, as well as a deeper narrative of collective humanity running through the collection.
