My research interest is creating social change among our adolescent population.  Physical inactivity is a major issue that affects an adolescent’s ability to meet military fitness requirements and promote a quality of life.  Cardiovascular disease and depression are some of the consequences of this issue.  My goal is to investigate the indicators and causes that hinder the adolescent’s healthy lifestyle and create social change to help adolescents promote a healthy lifestyle.
