Dana C. Sheehan, M.F.A.

Dana C. Sheehan, M.F.A., is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Communications and Writing. Her academic and professional work focuses on writing pedagogy, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and innovative approaches to supporting student writers. She has developed and led writing workshops, faculty professional development, and campus-wide initiatives addressing UDL and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in higher education. Sheehan’s scholarship includes work on writing instruction in the age of AI and designing postsecondary curricula for learner variability, and she regularly presents on writing pedagogy, UDL, AI, and student engagement.
