Prior to joining UNE, Hillary developed a clinical background in acute care practice, including multi‑trauma, orthopedics, neurological conditions, and acute burn care. She has also served in system‑level leadership roles overseeing acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, critical access services, and outpatient therapy programs. Hillary is a life-long learner, passionate about mentorship and advancing the occupational therapy profession through experiential learning. Her professional interests include physical disability and rehabilitation, healthcare workforce wellness, and developing sustainable models of care that support both patient and provider well‑being.
