I have over 15 years of healthcare experience. I started off my career journey as a laboratory scientist in chemistry/toxicology and blood banking. I later transitioned into Infection Prevention and Control where I enjoyed researching and preventing disease transmission within the hospital environment. I now work as a Communicable Disease Manager for the City of Detroit Health Department. I oversee epidemiologists and support contact investigations for food borne illnesses and communicable disease such as hepatitis.
