Moira Burke, MS, RD, LD

Moira Burke completed her Certificate of Didactic Program in Dietetics at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed her dietetic internship and Master of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Maine. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Emmanuel College. Her graduate thesis research focused on the relationship between environmentally sustainable eating practices (“green eating”) and health behavior in college students.

Moira works as a Clinical Dietitian at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Her professional interests include disease prevention and treatment throughout the lifecycle, nutrition support, clinical research, and the relationship between environmental sustainability and our food system. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, hiking, and yoga.
