What you (students) should know about UNE: Quality...the quality of our Faculty and Staff, the quality of our leadership, the quality of our campus and most of all the quality of our students who come to campus with a purpose to make the world a better place.
What I love about UNE: Location, location, location! Southern Maine may be the best place in New England and maybe the country. It is an amazing place to live and grow and a place you will find very hard to leave (I just couldn't!)
Advice as you (students) start your college search: Visit every school you are interested in and don't go to a school blindly. Ask a ton of questions, this is your life and your future, make sure they have what you want. Know that your interests will change in the next 4+ years and be good with that. Don't make decisions on where your friends are going, but on what you are looking for in your life. Study abroad, it's the greatest gift you will ever give yourself and you will learn more studying abroad then you will ever learn in a classroom.
