Steven Blessington, PA-C, MHP, EMT-P
Steven Blessington completed his PA/master’s in Health Professions education in Boston at Northeastern University in 1996 and has been a Maine based PA since working in the field of emergency medicine at hospitals including St. Joseph’s and EMMC/Northern Light in Bangor, and since 2005 at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He is former president and chief delegate of the Maine Association of Physician Assistants (MEAPA) and most recently was appointed by Governor Mills to the Board of Licensure in Medicine (BOLIM). He has taught pharmacology since 2008 as adjunct faculty within the PA program. Steven lives in Harpswell with his wife and has two adult children. When not in the ER, teaching PA students or fulfilling Board duties they can be found fishing, sailing, and exploring the beautiful waters of Casco Bay and beyond.
