Steve Blessington

Steven Blessington, PA-C, MHP, EMT-P

Steven Blessington, PA-C graduated from Northeastern University, Boston MA, in 1996. Prior to his Physician Assitant training he worked as a Paramedic in a busy inner city EMS system. Steven’s primary interest and focus has remained Emergency Medicine and he currently practices full time in the ED at Maine Medcial Center, Portland Maine. He serves as the  medical consultant to a national behavioral health company as well as serving as a medical expert witness to law firms throughout the country.  Additional areas of practice include Hyperbaric Wound care and Occupational Medicine.  Steven  remains active in Maine 's Physician Assistant society and legislative issues serving as a board member and prior president of MEAPA.   He will be reseated as president in July, 2015.  He has assisted as  adjunct facility to UNE Physician Assistant students for many years and brings more than 25 years of combined emergency care experience.
