Temitope Oyesile, MD, PhD

Dr. Oyesile obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His M.D. degree from USAT Montserrat. He also has a Ph.D. in Infectious Diseases from the same university. He has been actively involved in clinical research and has worked in clinical operations for several years working on various therapeutic projects including cardiovascular, oncological, neurological and medical devices studies. He has served as an American Heart Association BLS Instructor. Dr. Oyesile worked as a Certified Medical Technologist with Memorial Herman Hospital Houston, Texas before pursuing medical education as a physician. Dr. Oyesile has spent the last 16 years teaching and working on clinical and medical research. His current research interest focuses on infectious disease forecasting in a bid to help forecast infectious diseases outbreak and help policy makers prepare and if possible, prevent outbreaks.

He has a passion for teaching and enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing soccer, ping-pong and chess.
