Toho Soma

Mr. Soma focuses on program evaluation and quality improvement for various grants in the Center for Excellence in Health Innovation, including the Primary Care for Training and Enhancement grant, the Statewide Substance Use Prevention Services grant, and the Coastal Healthy Communities Coalition Drug Free Communities grant.

His prior work as the Director of Public Health for the City of Portland allowed him to collaborate with health care providers, universities, and community-based organizations to improve the health status of local residents, with an emphasis on addressing health disparities.
