The Provost is the chief academic officer of the University and oversees all academic programs, activities and initiatives within UNE’s six colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Dental Medicine, the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, the Westbrook College of Health Professions, and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies.
The Office of the Provost works with the faculty to support excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. The Office also oversees Student Affairs, Athletics, Research & Scholarship, Clinical Affairs, Library Services, and the Registrar, with a comprehensive focus on student success.
Mission
The mission of the Office of the Provost is to provide leadership of the academic enterprise of the university through support of teaching and learning, student success, research, outreach to the community, and ongoing institutional assessment.
