Marine Sciences (Marine Biology Track)

UNE Experience

Studied coastal ecology and natural resource management in Zanzibar, Tanzania, during the fall of 2011. Also participated in UNE travel courses to Belize and Ecuador. After graduation, pursued her Ph.D. at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology’s Red Sea Research Center in Saudi Arabia.

“The fateful day when my dreams of going abroad for a semester became reality, helped set me on a path to where I am today: swimming with whale sharks and enjoying life by the Red Sea. Although my love for sharks and whale sharks runs deep, I also assist colleagues in other areas of marine research.”
