Introduction to Service Learning

This event introduces students to a range of interprofessional service learning opportunities available in the greater Portland area including homeless shelters, the Cumberland County Jail, the Riverton Park Community, and substance treatment facilities. LiveStream* Service LEARNing

The theme for this series is Intercultural Competence, exploring concepts of cultural awareness, cultural humility, and collaboration across diverse groups including health professionals. Attendees will learn from local and national experts and have the opportunity to follow up these events with service learning, small group and classroom activities.
