CAIEP Learning Network: IP Research and Scholarship (Round Table Discussion)

Bob Kennedy, M.S., Director, Research Integrity and Julie Longua Peterson, Ph.D., Professor, Psychology and Chair of the Institutional Review Board will give a brief overview of IRB considerations when developing IP research and scholarship.

This 60-minute roundtable discussion will bring together a panel of scholars, researchers and representatives from UNE’s IRB who will give a brief overview of interprofessional research and scholarship protocols. Open to anyone interested in partnering with others to conduct interprofessional research and scholarship. The program will include topics such as:

• IRB considerations when developing collaborative (internal) and cross-institutional research

• How to begin a collaborative research project

• Describe challenges and benefits to cross-disciplinary research and scholarship

• Identify gaps in IP research and opportunities for UNE faculty and students
