Angela Martin and Heather Turcott present results of their research at the 57th Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine

Department of Physical Therapy 2010 graduates Angela Martin and Heather Turcotte recently presented the results of their research at the 57th annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine, held June 2-5, 2010 in Baltimore, MD. 

The project, entitled "The Relationship Between Body Mass Index and Rating of Perceived Exertion in Healthy Weight and Overweight Children During Play-Based Activities," was developed as part of an interdisciplinary research training grant under the direction of Jim Cavanaugh PT, PhD and Jane O'Brien PhD, OTR/L. Funding was provided through a small grant from the Westbrook College of Health Professions Division of Exercise and Sport Performance, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.
