Brian Duff quoted in story gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler

Brian Duff, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science, was quoted in an Aug. 21, 2010 Portsmouth Herald story on Maine independent gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler who faces Republican Paul LePage and Democrat Elizabeth Mitchell in the November election. Duff said that Cutler has potential. "If people can get excited about his campaign, he's got a chance," he said. "We love these people in the middle, people like Angus King and Olympia Snowe. But he has strong contenders in LePage and Mitchell. It's a very unpredictable race."
