Jane O'Brien gives presentation to the International Institute on the Model of Human Occupation

Jane O'Brien, PhD, OTR/L was invited speaker to the  International Institute on the Model of Human Occupation in Chicago Illinois January 14 – 15. Dr. O'Brien presented "Using Therapeutic Reasoning to Apply the Model of Human Occupation in Pediatric Occupational Therapy Practice", a paper co-authored with UNE alumni Elizabeth Asselin, Katie Fortier, Robin Janzegers, Beverly Lagueux, and Cailin Silcox. She also presented with Renee Taylor, PhD, University of Illinois at Chicago, a paper entitled "The Occupational Quality of Life Consequences of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in Adolescents".  (Other authors of this study include Gary Kielhofner, DrPH, OTR/L, FAOTA, Sun-Wook Lee, MS, OTR/L, Ben Z. Katz, M.D. and Cynthia Mears, D.O.).The conference highlighted international work using the Model of Human Occupation.
