Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center seal release garners media coverage

WGME 13 and the Portland Press Herald ran stories on the UNE Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center's release of four harp seals on May 17, 2010 that were successfully rehabilitated following the ice seal stranding season.

Two seals, known as "Hancock" and "Penobscott," were adult seals. "Androscoggin" and "Washington" were juvenile seals. They were released at Granite Point Beach in Biddeford. With the release of these seals, MARC is gearing up for the harbor seal pupping season.
