David Smith publishes column on Psychology Today blog on life’s purpose

On Nov. 24, 2011, David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., associate professor of philosophy and religious studies, published a column on the Psychology Today Philosophical Dispatches blog titled "The Teleologist's Dilemma: Life Has No Purpose." Smith looks at the question from the “biological” and “instrumental” perspectives.
