Exhibition of Sascha Braunig's art work noted by New Yorker magazine

The April 11, 2011 New Yorker magazine reviews UNE adjunct faculty member Sascha Braunig's debut New York City solo exhibition at Foxy Productions. "What if you crossed the anatomically obsessed Surrealism of Pavel Tchelitchew, the pattern-mad artifice of the young Peter Schuyff, and a black-light poster? The answer might be these deeply weird little paintings—hybrids of portraits and still-lifes—by a young New York artist making her impressive solo début." The show runs from March 18 - April 30. Braunig teaches painting and drawing in UNE's Department of Creative and Fine Arts.
