Jim Cavanaugh authors publications on Parkinson disease

Jim Cavanaugh PT, Ph.D, NCS, assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, contributed to three recent publications based on his work with a national group of physical therapy collaborators in a multi-center prospective cohort study of individuals with Parkinson disease.  

The first, entitled "Factors Associated with Exercise Behavior in People with Parkinson Disease," appears in the December 2011 issue of Physical Therapy, the journal of the American Physical Therapy Association. The second, entitled "The 9-Hole Peg Test of Upper Extremity Function: Average Values, Test-Retest Reliability, and Factors Contributing to Performance in People With Parkinson Disease," appears in the December 2011 issue of the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy. The third, entitled "Which Measures of Physical Function and Motor Impairment Best Predict Health-related Quality of Life in People with Parkinson Disease?" appeared in the November 2011 issue of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders.
