Literature scholar Susan McHugh’s new book recommended by Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries

Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries published a review that recommends Animal Stories: Narrating across Species Lines, the new book by Susan McHugh, PhD, Associate Professor of English and Ludcke Chair of Liberal Arts and Sciences.  Praising “the author's lucid, lively prose,” the review concludes that Animal Stories “makes an important contribution to the study of the posthumanities,” and lists the book as recommended reading for advanced undergraduate through faculty readers.  Animal Stories was published in spring 2011 by the University of Minnesota Press as the fifteenth volume in the Posthumanities series.
