Michael J. Cripps, Ph.D., associate professor of rhetoric and composition, Department of English and Language Studies, published a paper on technical communications and open source content management. Professor Cripps examines the important knowledge creation role in technical communications work with content management (CMS) and argues that open source software solutions create important opportunities for technical communicators to add value to CMS rollouts.
