Georgette Sutton and Heather Sadlier featured in Courier story on Campus Center exhibit

The March 22, 2012 Biddeford Saco OOB Courier featured a story on the exhibition "Another Part of Me" on display at the UNE Campus Center on the Biddeford Campus.

The exhibition showcases creative works of more than a dozen faculty and staff members who are not affiliated with the art world. The variety of artwork ranges from paintings to photography and quilts to jewelry.

The Courier story interviews Lead Switchboard Operator Georgette Sutton, who has a quilt on display titled “Log Cabin Heart,” and Assistant Professor of Education Heather Sadlier, who has photos on display. The story includes a photo of Sutton with her quilt.

Sadlier said “Another Part of Me” has shown her peers in a different light. She thinks the popularity of this year’s gallery will persuade more staff members to participate next year, since the exhibition shows how valuable it is to show off one’s creative side. Read the story.
