UNE IPCP Summit featured on National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education blog

The University of New England’s 2014 Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP) Summit, “Developing Interprofessional Collaborative Practice,” held on UNE’s Biddeford Campus May 28-29, was featured in a column on the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education's blog.

The column was written by Barbara Brandt, Ph.D., director of the Center, who was keynote speaker at the UNE IPCP Summit. In the column, titled "Lobster and Learning," Brandt describes the Summit and concludes that "Maine can be proud of more than just its beauty and seafood. It can be very proud of the innovative professionals working so diligently together to transform health care. I know I’m proud of their work, and so are many others."  Close to 200 health care leaders and organizations from across the state attended the Summit.
