Holly Parker shares thoughts on language innovation in blog

Holly Parker, M.Ed., coordinator for Academic Innovations at the University of New England, was a guest blogger for the Next Gen Learning Blog. The piece, titled, “The Power of Language Innovation,” focused on the role language plays in building relationships that lead to institutional success.

Parker wrote about the differences in language within stakeholder groups. She states that a shared passion between those groups is just the first step toward positive outcomes. She said it is critical to build a common language, something she plans to do for UNE and employers in the region. “Once we begin using the power of language to connect rather than allowing it to divide, we will build strong allegiances that bring impactful, sustainable change in the service of all UNE learners.”
