Olgun Guvench receives Faculty Early Career Development grant

Olgun Guvench, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor and vice-chair in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a recipient of a Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) grant for a proposed project entitled, “Atomic resolution modeling of proteoglycans.”

The CAREER grant is the National Science Foundation’s most prestigious award in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.

The grant will run from May 2015 through 2019.
