UNE’s Human Resources Department selected to present at National CUPA-HR conference
Representatives of UNE’s Human Resources (HR) department were selected to present at the Northeast Regional College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) Conference on April 13, 2015.
The presentation, titled "The Numbers Count – Using Metrics to Prove the Value of HR," looked at the necessity for HR Departments in Higher Education to act as true business partners to the institutions they serve.
Through the use of metrics, human resources professionals can show, in very tangible ways, how initiatives aimed at enhancing the employment experience can correlate directly to universities' continued growth and success.
In addition to the presentation to the Northeast Regional Conference, the presentation was chosen by the National CUPA-HR organization and adapted as their feature blog post for April 2015.
