Artwork by Adrienne Kernan La Vallee on display at UNE-Biddeford
A collection of artwork by Adrienne Kernan La Vallee will be on display at the University of New England’s Biddeford Campus Center, July 1 – August 1, 2016.
La Vallee has a Master of Fine Arts in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has displayed her work in more than 100 juried and curated exhibitions. La Vallee’s series for the UNE exhibit includes oil paintings of various landscapes off the coast of Maine that have been created from a combination of her observation and memory.
“I hope viewers will sense my energy and enthusiasm reflected in the textures, my bold brush strokes and the use of color,” she stated. “If a viewer is inspired by my work, or one of my paintings evokes an important feeling or memory, then I have succeeded.”
The exhibit is free and open to the public. UNE’s Campus Center is located at 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Diane Noble by email or phone (207-284-6394).
