The University of New England’s Student Occupational Therapy Association (UNESOTA) donated proceeds from its 2016 spring gala to a camp dedicated to empowering young people with limb loss.

Each year, UNESOTA’s annual Spring Gala fundraises for specific causes or organizations in the community related to the profession of occupational therapy. This year the organization chose Camp No Limits, a non-profit providing education, mentorship, and support to children with limb loss and their families.

UNESOTA donated 100% of the money from ticket sales to the organization. Students and faculty from the Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy raised enough money to send seven children to camp.
