UNE’s Kenneth McCall elected to the board of The Partnership for Safe Medicines

Kenneth McCall, BSPharm, Pharm.D., CGP, associate professor for the Department of Pharmacy Practice, has joined the board of directors for The Partnership for Safe Medicines (PSM). As a member of the board, McCall will serve in a leadership capacity, working with fellow directors to authorize official PSM publications and manage the organization’s activity.

Comprised of 75 non-profit organizations, the Partnership for Safe Medicines is a public health group committed to the safety of prescription drugs and protecting consumers against counterfeit, substandard or otherwise unsafe medicines. PSM follows a set of principles to support quality assurance programs and establish a drug distribution system that is without compromise. The organization publishes the SAFEMEDICINES Blog and Counterfeit Incident Encyclopedia, as well as press releases and op-eds.
