UNE launches course on adult learning

The University of New England’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) has launched a 3-credit, graduate level course titled EDU 760: Adult Learning Theory. This course will be offered for the Summer B session, and will begin on June 27, 2018.

Participants in this course will learn different theories of adult learning in order to deepen their understanding of how to teach adults. The goal of this course is to familiarize participants with current research and its practical applications for use in settings such as workshops, classrooms, and within the area of training and development. Students will develop strategies to address issues faced by educators of adults, helping them be more effective and responsive to the needs of the learners they serve.
