UNE professor receives prestigious fellowship from American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine

Ryan Smith, D.O., M.S., assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and director of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine Division of Psychiatry, has received a fellowship from the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators in the category of "Teaching and Evaluation."

AACOM awarded only three NAOME fellowships this year. The fellows are inducted into the academy anually to serve a five-year term. Inductees function as leaders and mentors for academic scholarship and excellence within the osteopathic medical education community. Smith will be inducted at the AACOM Conference in April 2018.
