Location
Sarah had the fortune to grow up in the beautiful state of Maine. She left Maine for college to upstate NY, with the desire for a future in medicine. After studying psychology, she worked in behavioral health and women's health for a few years prior to attending George Washington University's PA program in Washington, DC. Upon graduation, she started a position as a PA in dermatology and worked for 15 years in the same practice in Seattle, WA , specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. During that time, she precepted medical and PA students and lectured at the state level within WAPA, OSPA and at UW's MEDEX PA program where she became didactic faculty in 2019. Nearly 20 years later, she has returned to Maine and feels privileged to help teach the next generation of PAs at UNE.
She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, two kids and great Pyrenees.
