Experiences in High-Performance Sports Medicine: What's Old is New

Dr. Brolinson is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia.  He obtained his medical education at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, OH.  He is Board Certified in Family Practice and holds Board Certification of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.  

Until recently, he was Medical Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Toledo Hospital and team physician for the University of Toledo.  In addition, he is team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and a volunteer physician for the U.S. Olympic Committee.  

In July, he accepted a position at Virginia Tech as Head Team Physician and Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine at its Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
