Please join the students of Dr. Thomas Klak's ENV 376: Caribbean Sustainable Development course for a presentation of their field lab experience in Dominica, the self-proclaimed "Nature Island".
The course and field lab focused on the challenges of, and progress toward, sustainable development in Dominica. Students explored the ecosystems of this unique island nation, engaged with Dominican partners working to achieve sustainable development, and volunteered with local schools, farmers, community organizers and ecotourism organizations.
A Dominican lunch will be served.
