Karen Pardue delivers presentation at World Heath Care Congress

Karen T. Pardue, Ph.D., R.N., C.N.E., A.N.E.F., associate dean for Academic Affairs in the Westbrook College of Health Professions, delivered an invited panel presentation on Monday April 11, 2016 at the World Health Care Congress in Washington, DC. 

Pardue's presentation, "Nursing Leadership and Interprofessional Collaborative Practice to Achieve Value-based Care," was part of the Nursing Leadership Summit convening nurse executives from all sectors of health care to discuss how to overcome challenges in professional practice and patient care. Leaders explore the critical role of the nurse in advancing efficient and effective care delivery and strategies to fully utilize the nurse resource.  

The aim of the World Health Care Congress is to bring together leaders in health care delivery, business, payer systems, politics and academe in analyzing the innovation and transformation occurring in today’s ever-evolving healthcare environment.s
