Peter Garramore, D.M.D.

Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Peter J. Garramore is a Maine native and a graduate of the University of New England, St. Francis College. Following graduation, Dr. Garramore pursued a graduate degree in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire on a National Science Foundation Research Fellowship. During his graduate studies, Dr. Garramore realized that he desired to have a people-oriented occupation and not the lonely life of a research scientist. As a result, Dr Garramore decided to become a dentist.

Dr. Garramore’s decision to attend dental school took him to Oral Roberts University, School of Dental Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At graduation, Dr. Garramore was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry outstanding senior dental student award by the dental faculty.

Following graduation, Dr. Garramore completed a general practice residency in dental medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Garramore returned to Maine and established All Smiles Dental. During his practice of general dentistry, Dr. Garramore achieved Mastership level in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Garramore’s professional memberships include American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and A.G.D. New England Masters Study Club.
