High-quality health services
At the University of New England, we take pride in the high-quality health services we provide. For your convenience and ease of access, we offer health centers on both our Biddeford and Portland campuses. We are staffed with highly qualified practitioners and support staff to provide complete services compatible with primary care offices.
Our approach is comprehensive and holistic, and we provide individualized care that emphasizes health promotion and self-advocacy. Within the University community, we strive to empower you with knowledge for healthy living.
The Student Health Centers provide:
- Evaluation and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses
- Evaluation and treatment of minor injury
- Mental health and referral for treatment
- Gynecological care and pelvic exams, including women’s health issues and birth control
- Physicals, including sports and pre-clinical exams
- STD screenings
- Select immunization administration
- PPD testing
You can now use the UNE student/patient portal to access your health history and upload physical forms and immunization documents. Use your UNE Nor’easter username and password to log in.

Students are seen by appointment but walk-ins are accommodated whenever possible. To make an appointment call us, contact us through your Medicat portal, or stop in.
