Phyllis Wagstaff

Phyllis Wagstaff, D.M.D.

Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Phyllis Wagstaff graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Hygiene in 1964. From there, she moved to Boston and worked as a hygienist for Dr. Henry Goldman, after whom the BU dental school was named. During this time, Dr. Wagstaff also earned her B.S. degree at Boston University (1967). Subsequently, she worked for a periodontist in Portland, ME for eighteen years. After her youngest child graduated from high school, Dr. Wagstaff went back to BU and earned her D.M.D. degree (1993), as well as a CAGS in periodontology (1995). She owned a practice in North Conway, NH and practiced there for nineteen years. When she was working in NH, she also served on the board of Delta Dental. Dr. Wagstaff is now excited to be working at the UNE College of Dental Medicine with faculty, students, and patients.
