Tutoring Services

About our Tutoring Services

We provide a staff of peer, graduate, and professional tutors to support a wide selection of UNE courses in all colleges. UNE’s peer tutors are a select group of students who demonstrate subject proficiency as well as the personal qualities and professionalism necessary for providing effective academic support.

Peer tutors are selected based on academic achievement, supportive faculty recommendations, and an application and interview process. Peer tutors are trained and many have earned certification by the College Reading and Learning Association. Professional tutoring is also provided by SASC professional staff.

Tutoring services are free of charge to all students matriculated in a program at UNE. Current tutor availability is found on une.tutortrac.com where you can search and schedule appointments. You may also contact the Student Academic Success Center at sasc@une.edu. If tutoring is not currently available in a particular subject, you are encouraged to submit a request to SASC Tutor Coordinator at tutorcoordinator@une.edu.

Schedule Appointments

The Student Academic Success Center uses tutortrac software for students to search and schedule appointments. Current, enrolled students can log-in to une.tutortrac.com with their UNE credentials and see available support for their courses. Available help may be by appointment or on a drop-in basis. Unless otherwise noted in the schedule details, appointments take place in the SASC.

Students in online programs in the College of Graduate and Professional Studies can also access appointments through une.tutortrac.com. Appointments are held in person via video conference.

Students having difficulty using the scheduling software should contact the SASC for their campus, or watch a short video explaining how to use tutortrac.
